「papier collé」とは、フランス語でコラージュという意味を表し、コラージュアートの先駆けとなったパブロ・ピカソや、ジョルジュ・ブラックの作品が色濃く残る、20世紀キュビズム運動のその過程で生まれた技法です。
五感のなかにある、触れて、見て、感じることはpapier colléというアートが持つ、表現された質感やビジュアルに通ずるものがあると考えます。
